Installing Chinese to French dictionary 

1. Download the Chinese-French dictionary for MDBG Chinese Reader Professional Edition:

2. Un-ZIP the file
3. Open the Settings dialog box and choose the Advanced tab

Install the French dictionary

4. Click the Import button and locate your dictionary file.
5. As the file is loading, you will see a green status indicator in the Advanced dialog box and the Main window. When the dictionary is loaded, you will see its name in the list of dictionaries in the Advanced tab

Close Settings dialog

7. Click OK to close the Settings dialog box
8. Close Chinese Reader and restart your computer

Using Dictionaries

Managing dictionaries with MDBG Chinese Reader

  • Use the UP and DOWN arrows to set the priority of the dictionaries. The priority affects the order of definitions show in the LiveScan, HighlightScan and Main window (Lookup, Favorites plus History lists)
  • Un-check a dictionary to temporarily hide the definitions
  • To permanently delete a dictionary, right-click in the list of dictionaries and choose Delete
