Windows Update

Microsoft Windws 7 and Vista Ultimate Edition users may install the optional Language Pack that includes the high-quality Lili voice. The Microsoft Lili voice is also available in select versions of Microsoft Windows distributed in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other areas.

1. Check for Windows Update

2. Click on the optional updates are available link

 

3. Choose one or both of the Chinese Language Packs

4. Click OK to close the Optional Updates

5. Click Install updates to complete the installation process

Using Microsoft Lili voice

To configure Chinese Reader to use the Lili voice, open the Settings dialog. In the Speech area, change the voice to Microsoft Lili.



Tip: Adjust the pronunciation rate (faster or slower) using the rate control (above). Save and close the Settings dialog by clicking the X in the top right corner.
